I am an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. As a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, I have participated in advanced training for allergy and immunotherapy and currently serve on the Board of Directors as Secretary.

About Me

Dr. Wilson is a board-certified comprehensive otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon, specializing in and practicing the full breadth of the ENT field. He graduated from the highly respected Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Michigan. He then served on the faculty at the University of Utah for seven years, where he started a comprehensive allergy practice in the department, teaching and mentoring many students and residents. Since then, he has been growing a busy private practice.

Dr. Wilson has served as an expert witness for both plaintiff and defense in 9 expert witness cases involving complications of thyroid surgery, hearing protection, neurological complications of sinusitis, facial trauma, occupational hearing loss, dizziness, and subglottic stenosis requiring tracheotomy. He has have performed over 60 independent medical examinations and chart reviews for workers compensation and disability cases.

Background

After graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology, I obtained my medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in 2005. I then completed an Otolaryngology residency at the University of Michigan. I am Board Certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.

From 2010-2017, I was an Assistant and then Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Utah. During my tenure there, I established the department’s first allergy clinic. I was also a staff physician at George E. Wahlen VA Hospital during that time, supervising the residents in their care of veterans in the clinic and operating room. I remain an Adjunct Professor at the University and currently practice with ENT Specialists in Draper, Utah.

I have co-authored twenty publications in peer reviewed journals, written one book chapter, and given multiple presentations on topics in Otolaryngology.
